Summer Glow Mermaid Makeup ~ Ocean Blue Eyes and Silver Highlight 🌊 β˜€οΈΒ

Summer Glow Trend ~ Mermaid Makeup Look with Ocean Blue Eyes and Silvery Highlight ~ One Last Beach Trip 🌊 β˜€οΈ

HappyΒ Saturday, lovelies!Β

I’m back like I promised I would be, here with a second-to-last summer glow trend makeup look for you. I promised you guys at the beginning of summer I would showcase a few of these, and I wanted to deliver on that promise! I know it’s pretty late, heck, it’s been in the 50s here where I live for the past week! (That’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit for my non-American readers, not sure the Celsius conversion, sorry 😐)

But I do live pretty far north, so maybe some of your are still enjoying summer weather, perhaps even planning one last venture to the beach or the pool? If so, this makeup look is perfect for you to try, as it looks quite like a mermaid, if I do say so myself!

As you can see, this is a poolside perfect makeup look that looks good on all skin tones and eye colors. Shimmery sea-blue eyeshadow is alluring while a metallic true silver shadow adds dimension and shine to the eyes. Blue glitter eyeliner and blue mascara add the finishing touches to this aquatic makeup look. Optional, but if you want to kick it up a notch and you have the confidence, try blending a bit of the two eyeshadow shades together (the silver and the sea blue) and brushing a light amount onto the areas of your face that you’d normally apply highlight. This assures you’ll shine brighter than sunlight dancing on beach waves 🌊

Ideally, keep the rest of the face bare or natural, including brows and lips. Forego foundation if you can, instead try tinted BB cream with SPF. It’ll give you a slight tint and smoother complexion sort of like foundation, plus you get SPF and moisturizing all in one. Also, it’ll look more natural, and give your skin a more dewy radiance, perfect for sunshine activities (while we still have them!) β˜€οΈ Β Here, I kept my brows natural, simply brushed out with a clean mascara wand and slicked in place with clear brow gel. You can tell that I was pretty liberal with the makeshift blue-silver mermaid highlighter. It may seem intimidating, but it was actually very pretty and flattering, especially since you couldΒ really only see it in certain (direct) light. I felt like a diamond πŸ’Ž and a mermaid, of course!

So there you have it! Perfect makeup look, pretty sea blue and mermaid silver, eyes matching highlight! I have one last summer glow trend makeup look I plan on sharing, but luckily this one works as well in fall as it does in summer, so no rush on it~ What do you guys think of this look? Would you ever channel your inner mermaid and pull it off? Maybe next year, yes? Lemme know what you think in the comments, as always I’d love to hear from you all! Have a great weekend!

You look stunning!! I would love to have skin this flawless. The eyeshadow suits you beautifully and whilst it may not be everyday, I think you can pull it off. It sounds crazy but if I was doing your makeup, I would do a really deep plum lip with this colour – again I know it sounds crazy! xx

Thank you, lovely πŸ™πŸΌ you’re so kind for this comment! My skin is definitely not flawless but I’m lucky to have lots of good skin days for photographing πŸ˜‚ and I actually think the cool tones in this eyeshadow and a plum lip would play together beautifully! It’s definitely be stunning, not crazy at all 😊 don’t know when I’d wear a look like that, but it’d be pretty to photograph I bet xx

Hahaha thank you Azra 😘 I know it’s not an ideal “every day look” but I agree it would look amazing with a matching bikini at a party πŸŽ‰ that’s kinda what I was going for, great minds think alike! Thank you for your nice comment πŸ™πŸΌ
