{Skin Care Review} Shea Moisture Superfruit Multivitamin Renewal w/ Grapefruit Seed Oil & Lotus Seed Extract – Peel Pads, Crรจme, and Eye Cream – for Uneven Texture and Fine Lines

Hello, everyone!ย

I hope everyone is having a good hump day! Today I’m here to share with you my 3-in-1 review of these products from Shea Moisture. They are the Superfruit Multivitamin Renewal Peel Pads, Renewal Crรจme, and Renewal Eye Cream, with Grapefruit Seed Oil & Lotus Seed Extract. Phew. Those product names are a mouthful… But then, the best skin and beauty products usually have long winded names, right? So did these live up to the standard of their fancy names?

Honestly, I think they did. The labels claim to improve uneven texture and fine lines. Do they do that? Well, I can honestly say that I think it did help with some uneven texture. Using these, especially altogether at the same time, definitely seemed to give me smoother skin. As for fine lines, that’s hard to say. I don’t have many, and the ones that I do have, I don’t pay much attention to. But definitely got smooth results with these three products. Now here’s a one-at-a-time review of these.

Renewal Peel Padsย

I actually liked these pads. They certainly weren’t the worst I’ve ever used. They smelled good and mild, and they definitely contributed to the smoother skin results I reported from using these three products. I used two of these Peel Pads a night to remove my makeup, and they did a good job at that. My only qualm with these pads is that they dried out easily and quickly, which anyone who knows and loves skin care will tell you is a huge no-no for pads, wipes, and sheets of all sorts. Drying out is practically death.

Renewal Crรจme

I like this crรจme! I’m actually still working on it, as there is a generous amount in the jar. I’ve been using it during the day, mostly, but also at night sometimes, too. This isn’t my favorite one to use at night, because it’s actually very lightweight and not very moisturizing. I mean, it is, but not nearly as much as my other night creams, and not nearly as much as I’d like it to be. However, this isn’t all bad! I like my daytime face moisturizer to be more lightweight, so as to easily go under my BB cream, makeup, sunscreen, etc. without feeling too layered or piled on. So yes, this stuff has served dutifully and well the past couple months as my mostly daytime face lotion. Oh yes, I’d be more likely to call this a “lotion” than a “crรจme”, if it were up to me. Why? Well, because it is thinner and a bit more liquid-y in consistency than I’d imagine a cream to be. Unless of course “crรจmes” and “creams” are two different things, and therefore have two different consistencies/thicknesses, then I stand to be corrected. I don’t care to look it up, either! Haha at least not right now, feel free to educate me if you know the answer, though. Anyways, all in all, I like this face lotion, especially for day. It smells good, but a little stronger than I’d like for face lotion.ย I can’t give it a higher score because I need at least two or three layers of this stuff to fully feel like my skin is hydrated and not tight and dry, and that’s a shameful waste of product, if you ask me.

Renewal Eye Creamย

Okay, this stuff ain’t half bad either! I’m still using this cream, and will be for some time, because let me tell you, there’s a lot in that little jar! The consistency of the product is definitely thick and creamy, and it is packed in there good! Seriously I’ve barely even scratched the surface of it, so to speak. Definitely gets points for value and sheer amount of product, plus it only makes it better that you only need a small, pea-sized amount for each eye! I’ve honestly been using this stuff night and day. I’ve noticed a difference in the brightness of the area surrounding my eyes and the lightness of my under eye circles. I love eye cream in general, however, as it covers such a small area of your skin, it can be tough to notice the differences or improvements sometimes. When you do notice, it’s tough to put the improvements into words! I’m having that trouble now, but trust me when I say that this is probably the best eye cream I’ve ever tried that wasn’t a fancy free sample from Sephora. This eye cream smells good, but is more mild in scent than the other two products, which isn’t a bad thing. All in all, I’m digging this eye cream!

Thank you, Laura! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ this brand is pretty popular around where I live… I think it kinda started with a cult following from mainly ethnic buyers, and more recently started becoming more mainstream and widely available. The ULTA Beauty I worked at had an entire shelf full of the Shea Moisture skin and hair products. I like them a lot! Probably can find some if not most of it online, I’d bet. Smell is a huge thing for me in skin care products! A product’s scent is the difference between an empty and being chucked in the trash still full ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks for your comment x

Hey, I just realised that your name is Angelspartnaness but the reason that people cannot click onto your website without you writing the link, is because your name still comes up as angelearthlifestyle. Let me know if you managed to contact WordPress, it is an issue with them not updating your new link. x

Good eye, there! I knew that my name/link was wrong, but I didn’t know why. When I posted to a help forum about it, the WordPress staff member who answered didn’t seem to understand, they gave me an answer that didn’t make sense. That was awhile ago, before I got the upgraded plan. I’m going to try to reach out to them today, thank you so much for telling me what the real issue was because I didn’t even know! If it’s on them, that’s kinda irritating. I chose that name at first but then I quickly decided I wanted my blog and Instagram to have the same handle, and when I changed it, the link never changed. I just ended up ignoring it because I just couldn’t figure it out, even hours of google searching yielded no results or even seemingly anyone with the same problem ๐Ÿ˜ž

Yes, a help forum before I had the upgraded plan. Now that I do, I think I should have some form of one on one help, but unsure how to access it. I haven’t see a chat box for help yet, so I’m not sure, but I’ll try and find it. You’re right, definitely losing views and it’s a shame. Thanks for all the help!

Ok I think this how you do it. type in your full wordpress address in the search bar and add /wp-admin/ at the end. It should take you to your dashboard. From there, scroll down to the bottom to help and support. From there it should open a new tab and at the bottom, press get help. Hopefully that should work. x
